The Southbank Centre has an exciting opportunity for an External Affairs and Policy Officer to join the External Affairs team to help ensure Southbank Centres voice is heard where it counts as we contribute to the culture sector's recovery.

The External Affairs and Policy Officer will support all areas of the External Affairs team’s work to deliver a robust external affairs strategy based on Southbank Centre’s organisational objectives and business priorities, maintain and safeguard Southbank Centre’s position and corporate reputation within the external climate as a leading global arts organisation and thought leader and support the wider work of Southbank Centre’s teams, where necessary.

At Southbank Centre we aim to provide safe participatory and creative opportunities for all the children and young people who take part in our programme and visit our site. As this role will require you to work closely with children and/or vulnerable adults, you would be required to apply for a DBS check if you were offered the role. This is in line with our Safeguarding Policy and is a key requirement of this role.
