Oxford Insights is a young advisory firm helping governments harness the latest developments in technology and leadership. We are currently growing and are looking to build our management team. As the first hire at this level beyond our founders, we are looking for you to show excellent judgement in finding and scoping work, as well as bringing your expertise to help shape the quality of what we do.

Maybe you have built your career in the public sector and are looking for something more entrepreneurial. Maybe you have worked in a larger consultancy and looking for smaller projects with more operational freedom. The attributes we are looking for are:

We are a small team so the role will be flexible, and it will evolve as we continue to grow. As a more senior post we will be looking for you to:

  • Scope, manage and deliver projects for public sector clients;
  • Manage and develop our team - We have a superb team of junior consultants and we expect you to act as a mentor to help them harness their potential;
  • Troubleshoot projects - Provide expert and experienced advice to help unblock projects for your colleagues;
  • Marshall resources - Make sure the right people are on the right projects and that they are able to strike the right work/life balance;
  • Manage client relationships - A lot of our work comes from repeat business and trusted relationships. We expect you to build and deepen those relationships over time;
  • Advocate - We expect our team to build the company’s profile, including through building your own profile and field speaking opportunities on our behalf.
