This is an exciting opportunity to join FleishmanHillard UK’s award-winning Public Affairs Practice. As a Senior Account Executive, we will expect you to be able to deliver top quality work, based on a strong understanding of our clients’ commercial priorities and the political landscape that will impact them. To thrive in the role, you will need to demonstrate your ability to think laterally, provide smart counsel and generate creative communications solutions. Responsibilities

  • Exceptional client service Day-to-day delivery on a portfolio of client accounts
  • Contributing to the management and reporting of client work in progress
  • Developing new business through personal networking, lead generation and playing a significant role in proposals and pitches
  • Helping to shape our broader Public Affairs offering in a fast-moving, dynamic marketplace.
  • Developing integrated campaigns, working with media and digital specialists across the business while leading on public affairs activations
  • Contributing to office, global and regional network initiatives, knowledge sharing and training Inspiring, supporting and motivating colleagues to build a highly engaged and productive team

When reviewing applications, we will be looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • A real passion for politics
  • An all-rounder: policy expert, researcher, communicator and advisor
  • Experience of working in parliament, or success in a public affairs role
  • Evidence that you are the sort of person who gladly takes personal responsibility and go the extra mile to make a difference
  • A brilliant writer, whose written work is both analytical, well-structured and accurate Commercial awareness: an ability to translate knowledge of policy developments into commercial impacts
  • Creativity and an integrated communications mindset, previous experience of digital communications or media relations would be desirable
  • Evidence of networking confidence (political and commercial), connections within the Conservative Party would be desirable
