MOPAC is recruiting for an exciting new Briefings Officer role, situated in the heart of London Government.
Working alongside the Briefings Manager, the Briefings Officer will perform a crucial role supporting the Deputy Mayor of Policing and Crime, the Mayor of London and the MOPAC CEO. The postholder will ensure these stakeholders are provided with high-quality and timely briefing materials on policing and crime issues.
The role requires close working with colleagues from across the organisation to ensure MOPAC principals and the Mayor of London have the information they need.
Excellent writing skills are essential for this role, as is a close attention to detail and the ability and confidence to work at pace.

The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is the organisation through which the Mayor of London exercises his role as the Police and Crime Commissioner for London and is led by the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime. MOPAC undertakes a broad range of statutory duties and works closely with the Mayor of London, Deputy Mayor and Metropolitan Police Service to deliver the priorities that will create safer London communities.
