Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, is an international non-profit organisation putting human rights at the heart of business and tackling abuse.

We are seeking a Human Resources Lead to join our growing team.

• Location: Strong preference for London/South East England or possibly Berlin
• Terms: Full-time position; salary of £32,000 - £37,000 pa, depending on experience (adjusted to cost of living); 5% pension contribution; 35-hour week; 24 days paid holiday pa
• Contract type: Open-ended
• The Resource Centre is unfortunately unable to assist with relocation

The successful candidate will have a commitment to human rights, a proven track record in human resource (H.R.) service delivery and have a collaborative approach to working with colleagues. They will be a member of a thriving team, reporting to the Chief Operations Officer (COO).

The person in this role will work with the COO to provide a high-level H.R. service.

This is the first dedicated H.R. role in our organisation and the successful candidate will be instrumental in developing, implementing and reviewing our H.R. strategy, policy and plans.

To achieve this, the H.R Lead will support line managers on day-to-day people issues, recruitment and employee relations, making sure that people policies are compliant with national laws and regulations.

A key part of this role is to ensure that the way we treat people is aligned with our organisation’s values and strategic goals.
