An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Broadcast Officer to join the press team at CCHQ. Your responsibilities: Handling media bids and requests from broadcasters Managing relationships with broadcasters Building relationships with Conservative MPs Monitoring political shows and appearances Liaising with and supporting press officers on day-to-day activity Assisting with other Press Office tasks as required Your professional experience: Excellent organisational skills Highly developed communication skills Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines A commitment to the Conservative Party The ideal candidate will have some experience of working in a political environment and some experience of working with the press Desired: Experience of working with broadcast media
