The Role: Public Affairs Account Manager
This Account Manager will work in well-structured account teams; partnering influential and connected Directors, as well as coordinating with specialist copywriters, media relations professionals and international teams to ensure a fully integrated campaign. It will be client facing and advise c-suite clients in highly regulated industries including banking, payments, fintech and telecommunications, media and technology. Forthcoming clients and project work includes:

  • Working with leading retail banks, fintech, payment, telco and tech clients
  • Topical policy issues such as the regulation of crypto, global payments, to the sharing economy and drones

Tasks, skills and attributes for the role:

  • A passion for politics and current affairs.
  • Experience in a consultancy servicing multiple clients.
  • Experience of delivering national public affairs and policy strategies.
  • Supporting strategic political guidance to clients
  • Integrating media plans and comms into political strategies
  • Preparing clients for select committee hearings and other government interaction
  • Managing the organisation of client events and parliamentary receptions/online webinars
  • Supporting new business
