The IEM Consultancy is a legal services company that provides advice and consultancy for UK-based employers providing services to the EU and associated mobility. We work alongside a wide European network where collaboration on UK/EU immigration and emloyment law is enjoyed.

Our services include compliance with EU labour market rules, the UK/EU Trade and cooperation agreement, intra-EU travel, the UK's new immigration system and legal and contractual work associated with UK and EU clients. 

We are looking for a legal researcher to work as part of the Head Office team that will integrate well, is keen to learn and takes an interest in UK politics and possibly UK law. 

The legal researcher will be required to:

• Research the latest changes regarding EU member states' implementation of the UK/EU trade deal
• Research different mobility routes into the EU for UK workers
• Draft reports
• Assist with the management of the office and its clients.
• There will be the opportunity to meet and speak with clients and assess their needs and draft proposals. 

This is an opportunity for a school leaver or graduate who has excellent writing and research skills. Candidates should be competent with Microsoft Outlook and have good telephone manner. Good background knowledge of international relations between the UK and the EU and the UK labour market is preferred. 

The IEM Consultancy offers internal training on all subject matters and encourage their employees to take on additional professional training to supplement their career. Whilst no previous employment is required, we welcome enthusiasm and those who want to learn quickly.
