A prestigious London Local Authority with a large regional jurisdiction over both the City of London and the county of Greater London are looking to recruit for two Campaign Assistants to join a busy team, to start asap until mid December 2021.

The purpose of this post is to support an effective engagement campaign ahead key local elections. The organisation has a unique franchise, in which both residents and certain workers are entitled to register and vote. Between August and mid-December 2021, the organisation will run an intensive campaign to maximise the number of voter registrations, online and offline. During this time, the Campaign Assistant will be tasked with conducting research, managing contact lists and engaging with potential voters, online and offline, to persuade them to register and participate in the election.

The Campaign Assistant role will sit within a small elections campaign team taking a central role in election campaign engagement to maximising voter registrations.
