THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Director to oversee the running of the APPG FoRB and its staff members. Key responsibilities will include human resources, leading a team, supporting APPG Members to raise awareness of FoRB violations and to help encourage the development and implementation of policy that will bring about positive change to the lives of persecuted religious and belief communities.

You will also be expected to create and implement plans to ensure the continued growth of the APPG membership, through increasing its stakeholders and members ensuring sustained organisational development.

Experience in:

• Managing, writing and producing research.
• Producing press releases and public statements.
• Supporting staff to achieve high standards of performance.
• FoRB topics, based on research, for APPG members to raise in Parliament and strategies to raise those topics effectively.
• Manage, organise and support APPG inquiries on priority FoRB issues.

Events
• Organise AGM's
• Organise and support parliamentary meetings between the APPG and domestic and international Government representatives
• Manage, organise and support parliamentary and external events for the APPG, often in conjunction with a range of partners such as domestic and international civil society and academics
• Manage, organise and attend parliamentary and online debates and events to promote APPG and to research FoRB issues
• Work directly with stakeholders on their areas of concern
• Recruit parliamentarians
• Recruit stakeholders
