                    Job Details
                    Due to continued success and growth in a virtual environment, Knowledge Exchange Group is seeking a Conference Producer to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will produce an exciting mix of public policy, public sector and private sector events. Sectors include local and central government, housing, employment, energy, education and children’s services, diversity and inclusion, media and communications. 
RESPONSIBLITIES: • Project management and delivery of key targets/deadlines • Developing and writing of the event programme • Desk and in-depth market research, to ensure viability of programmes • Meeting, inviting and liaising with senior-level speakers • Writing copy for marketing materials and website • Identification of audience, commercial partners and sponsors • Close collaboration with internal stakeholders • Ongoing research to identify key trends, competitor events, new topics • Liaising with speakers in the lead up to events, welcoming and acting as main contact for speakers on the day of the conference • Pre and post-event administration • Budget reporting and management
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1-2 years conference production or other relevant experience • Good educational qualifications e.g. university degree or equivalent, minimum 2:1 • Able to demonstrate an understanding of events and/or public policy • Excellent research skills and working to deadlines • Experience of writing marketing copy
