Digital Media Officer

To develop the OPCC’s use of digital technologies to enhance workforce awareness and morale, public consultation and engagement activity, transactional service provision and (internal and external) behaviour change activity. To produce high quality written, visual and audio content for digital (internal and external) platforms to help deliver the Police and Crime Plan and strategic priorities.

Research Officer

Undertake research work in support of the development of policy, reports and briefing notes to the Police and Crime Commissioner, particularly in relation to the contents of the Police and Crime Plan. Prepare reports and briefing notes of accurate performance information and analysis, which will enable the Police and Crime Commissioner to hold the Chief Constable to account against the aims set in the Police and Crime Plan. Provide scrutiny and oversight of performance data to inform the PCC of any areas of concern. Co-ordinate the production of the Annual report, other reports and plans as required

Events and Visits Officer

Working for the Head of Communications and closely with the PCC to deliver the events and visits plan. To arrange and organise visits by the PCC to outside events, venues and people or to arrange visits by third parties to the PCC in his/her office. Proactively develop ideas for visits and other events to ensure that the PCC is visibly supporting the priorities of the Police and Crime Plan.

Performance and Assurance Officer

To provide relevant and accurate information and analysis which will inform and influence decisions in the delivery of the Police and Crime Plan. To monitor the delivery of the Police and Crime Commissioners priorities and to ensure regular evaluation and reviews are undertaken.
Due to the level of security clearance required for this role you must have 5 years continuous residency in the UK.
