The role:

To jointly lead the campaigns, policy and public affairs strategy & activities on behalf of the member organisations to influence politicians and key decision makers.

To engage with member organisations in order and develop policy positions and to campaign effectively.

To jointly lead motivate and support a team of 6 to implement the activities and campaign goals. And to manage the budget.

The candidate:

A minimum of 5 years in policy development or public affairs roles with solid experience of influencing civil servants and politicians.

Strong and supportive line management experience – with good team building skills and motivational methods

An excellent budget and project manager. And vitally a strong communicator and relationship builder – internally and externally.
