City Campaign Manager - Leeds

The Conservative Party needs a City Campaign Manager for Leeds.

There are few people more important than our Campaign Managers. They run election campaigns and local issue campaigns. They help residents achieve big things for local communities. They lead teams of volunteers making a difference. And crucially, they help us win elections.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re starting out in your career or whether you’re looking for a new direction. All you need is a willingness to roll up your sleeves, learn new things, and work your socks off.

What will you do as a City Campaign Manager for Leeds?

Every day is different — that’s what makes the job exciting. But you can expect to:

Build relationships with elected representatives, including councillors and MPs
Create a winning campaign team made up of enthusiastic volunteers
Take the lead in organising high-profile meetings and events
Exercise your creativity by producing leaflets and communications
Run crucial ‘Get Out the Vote’ operations on polling days
Grow your candidates’ and elected representatives’ presence on social media
Develop a voter contact programme, including telephone and door-to-door canvassing
Sound daunting? Don’t worry — staff at CCHQ will be there to provide training and support every step of the way.

What skills do you need to be a Campaign Manager?

Can you communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds, in writing and in person?
Are you able to fulfil set tasks and meet deadlines?
Do you have the motivational skills to build a team and inspire colleagues?
Can you take responsibility for organising events?
Do you believe in the Conservative Party’s values and aims?
If you answered yes to these questions, then you’ve got what it takes.
