techUK’s Tech and Innovation Programme works to ensure techUK continues to be the authoritative voice of current and emerging technologies and innovation. This includes dedicated work programmes on technologies including cloud computing, data analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Digital ID and emerging and transformative innovations including Blockchain, Edge computing and Quantum.

Through a programme of events, campaigns, meetings and thought leadership development, the Tech and Innovation Programme focuses on identifying key opportunities and challenges that need to be addressed to develop and adopt current and emerging technologies and innovations in the UK. The programmes also acts as a single point of contact for UK government and key stakeholders on issues impacting these technologies.

This role supports the Director of Technology and Innovation in leading and delivering a successful Cloud Computing programme of work and activities and also supports techUK’s ongoing emerging and transformative technologies campaigns.

The person appointed will need to have, or a propensity to develop quickly, a good understanding of the opportunities and challenges in the area of Cloud Computing and where members can work collectively to understand and enhance those opportunities. This person will also need to show capability and potential to build on a strong foundation of solid programmes, strong member engagement, and good external reputation and stakeholder relationships. This role will also be required to assist in growing techUK's membership base.

This role requires someone who has the communication skills, confidence and drive to grow their own profile and that of techUK.
