Working For: Welsh Liberal Democrats and ALDC

Location: Cardiff/Home Based

Salary: £24,000-£28,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Length of Contract: Six months.

Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity to work with ALDC (the Association of Liberal Democrat Councillors) and the Welsh Liberal Democrats. There are Welsh local government elections in May 2022, and this post will support local parties in fighting these. All Welsh local authorities are unitary councils and all elect all of their councillors once every 5 years.

Our ambition is for more Liberal Democrat councillors to be elected for more Welsh councils to have Liberal Democrat councillors. To do that, we want to develop effective local campaigning by Liberal Democrats right across Wales, and to considerable increase the number of council candidates.

The post is based in Cardiff but will require travel around Wales (COVID allowing). Home working and/or being partly based outside Cardiff is possible for the right candidate.

Closing Date: 4 January 2022

Interview/Start Dates

We will have a rollling programme of interviews and may appoint before the closing date.

Interviews will be via Zoom.
