Job Details This is an exciting opportunity to organise and drive the Conservative campaign to win the Council elections in May 2023, with support and training provided by CCHQ staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the 2023 Campaign Committee in developing the campaign strategy

• Producing and agreeing a project plan and budget and managing its delivery

• Creating a winning campaign team made up of enthusiastic volunteers

• Developing a voter contact programme, including telephone and door-to-door canvassing

• Producing local campaign literature and developing our online presence

• Gaining a thorough understanding of Election Law and the role of the Electoral Commission

• Acting as election Agent for candidates in every ward in South Derbyshire

• Assisting the two Associations with fundraising

• Running a full ‘Get Out the Vote’ operation

You will be:

• A highly organised and self-starting individual able to work to tight deadlines

• An effective communicator with excellent skills in written and spoken English

• Able to build and lead a team and motivate volunteers

• Willing to take responsibility and have the ability to take initiative

• An experienced user of IT and digital platforms and understand the use of social media

• Flexible with regard to out of hours working patterns

• A driver with a full driving licence and have access to a car

• Sympathetic to the aims and values of the Conservative Party
