ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Scotland based coordinator who can drive a growth in membership, campaign activity, and engagement across Scotland working alongside our partner organisation European Movement in Scotland.
We are looking for candidates with a record of successfully developing and implementing local campaigns, managing volunteers in a campaign setting, and of delivering local communication that works with a local audience. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with the ability to take the initiative, sound political judgement, and knowledge of the issues facing both Scotland and the wider UK following Brexit.
Reporting to the Director of Partnerships and Engagement at the European Movement UK, and working alongside the European Movement in Scotland, the role will be central to the following critical areas.
- Driving a growth in membership of the European Movement UK and European Movement in Scotland
- Planning and delivering targeted local campaigns across Scotland
- Working with, and supporting, the European Movement in Scotland's network of local groups
- To drive growth and engagement with the European Movement UK and European Movement in Scotland - online and locally
LOCATION
This role is home based. The successful applicant will need to be based in Scotland, and be able to travel to meetings and campaign events across Scotland.
FLEXIBILITY
This role is part time (3 days per week) with flexibility about how these hours are distributed.
