The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Policy Officer to join the Policy, Evidence and Influencing team who lead on key policy areas and influence change for people with breast cancer across the UK.

You will provide vital support to our policy activities, ensuring our work delivers maximum impact for people affected by breast cancer. This will include supporting our crucial policy work on the breast cancer workforce, secondary breast cancer and access to drugs. you will also develop evidence-based positions and recommendations and build strong relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

You will have the opportunity to use your analytical skills to support policy development and will work closely with colleagues on the development and delivery of influencing strategies in line with our policy positions. You will also produce engaging policy content for briefings, consultation responses, blogs and social media and analyse information on new and on-going policy issues relevant to the organisation.

About you
You will have experience of influencing, research, and policy development. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage projects and think strategically, and to build strong relationships with external stakeholders to influence change. You will also have an excellent understanding of the current policy landscape and be able to work on your initiative and have strong time management and organisation skills.
