Do you want to drive investment in London’s future mobility, active and public transport infrastructure, find solutions to London’s air quality crisis, the climate change challenge and develop creative and collective approaches to issues such as waste management and flooding? These are significant challenges, that will in turn present opportunities for you to shape service delivery approaches and leave your mark on the London transport and environment landscape. We are looking for a highly motivated person with enthusiasm, innovative ideas and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively in a dynamic and quickly changing policy environment. It is desirable for you to have experience of contributing to policy development in either transport or environment policy areas. The role will require that you analyse policy and data and you will apply this analysis for better policy development to improve results for Londoners. You will also make London’s case to central government and a range of other, critical partners in London local government and beyond. This will require you to build effective relationships across sectors, communicate, negotiate and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, as well as having experience of creative problem solving and managing a varied workload of projects in a pressurised environment.
