Let us tell you a little bit about the role....

You will be responsible for leading the delivery of CQC’s engagement with Parliament and other stakeholder organisations in order to ensure the organisation is open, transparent, and upholds its accountability to Parliament to the highest possible standard.

You will have a role supporting on engagement with parliamentary committees, working with colleagues to draft written submissions as well as preparing senior colleagues to provide oral evidence. You will also support on legislation, briefing colleagues internally and project managing CQC’s engagement with government departments and others.

You will support constructive partnership working with external organisations, and you will build relationships with key strategic contacts, to help ensure that CQC’s work is informed by the external stakeholder environment and to gather insight on their priorities.

What we're looking for from you...

Someone with experience of the delivery of parliamentary and stakeholder engagement, along with excellent oral and written communication skills.

You will be able to provide calm and measured responses to time-critical situations and will understand when it is necessary to escalate to ensure resolution.

You should have good project leadership skills and the ability to multitask and manage multiple business critical deadlines.
