Here at Syria Relief we have an exciting opportunity for an Advocacy & External Relations Manager to join our team based in Salford, Greater Manchester. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role.

As our Advocacy & External Relations Manager, the successful candidate will report directly to the CEO, manage and strengthen our advocacy campaigns, and develop and build new networks to support advocacy efforts. The post-holder will advocate the humanitarian needs stemming from the crisis in Syria, Yemen and other contexts in which the organisation works. He/she will convey the voice from the ground, to various external audiences, and will build a presence there to promote the organisation’s work, which is rapidly evolving and is entering newer phases.

The ideal candidate for this role should have strong experience in an advocacy or external relations role, and be passionate about humanitarian causes.
