An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Political Advisor for the Shadow Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Lisa Nandy, as part of the Leader’s Office for the Official Opposition. Supporting the Shadow Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, their frontbench team and the Leader of the Labour Party to promote the strategic goals of the Labour Party.
The post holder will provide media and communications support, policy research, and analysis in the given policy area to the Shadow Cabinet the frontbench team, as part of the Policy directorate.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Parliamentary/political experience, excellent knowledge and experience of the relevant policy area, experience of dealing with the national media as well as experience writing briefing stories for the national media.
