It promotes hate, damages people’s health, and hurts democracy. Full Fact is a team of independent fact checkers and campaigners who find, expose and counter the harm of bad information.

Three in four people say they are worried about the spread of misinformation and a growing majority believe there is more lying and misuse of facts in politics and media in the UK than there used to be.

Full Fact’s supporters believe that public debate should be more accurate and honest, and that politicians, the media and internet companies should be held to account for the quality of information in our lives. They like that we’re independent, impartial and persistent.

Fundraising to improve the quality of public debate means being able to show potential and current donors that problems can be solved and improved. You’ll take leading news stories and emerging dangerous misinformation and use them to create powerful appeals and impact reports.

Already over 2,600 people donate to us every month, and thousands more give when they can. Our communications powerhouse reaches millions of people on our website and through social media, and tens of millions through media appearances and partnerships with internet companies.

We’re looking for someone to make the most of our reach and convince people that an honest and accurate public debate is worth fighting for, and a campaign we can win.

You’ll join a supportive, ambitious and experienced team of fundraisers and learn with us as we grow.
