The Institute for Government is currently inviting applications for a Partnerships Officer (job reference: DEV2204) to start as soon as possible.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a highly regarded think tank at the heart of Westminster with close connections to government and all political parties as part of the fundraising and partnerships function of the Institute.

The role will involve providing administrative and project support to the Partnerships team. Over time the successful candidate will also have the chance to develop the necessary skills to generate funding and grow and maintain the Institute’s network of private sector, charity, academic and other partners who support IfG in pursuing its charitable mission of making government more effective. You will work with staff across the Institute as well as with external partners to support the funding and delivery of the Institute’s research, learning and events programme, including working on the Institute’s annual party conference programme.

We would like to appoint an applicant interested in developing their career at the Institute. Over time, there is scope for the role to grow, allowing you to take on direct responsibility for Partnerships, revenue generation and project management as a Partnerships Manager.
