British Expertise International (BEI) is a membership organisation supporting UK businesses working in the emerging and developing markets of Asia, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Caribbean. Our members focus on education, healthcare, infrastructure, technology, climate resilience and international development. We work alongside the UK and other governments as well as international organisations to help our members explore, assess and pursue commercial opportunities internationally.

We are searching for an Events and Digital Marketing Associate to promote and deliver an average of between 3-5 events per week, both online and in person at our Mayfair-based office and venue. The role covers all aspects of virtual and in-person event delivery and the associated communications and digital marketing support. This is a permanent, full-time role.

Good knowledge of and experience in working with Microsoft Office suite is essential, especially Outlook, Word and Excel. The ideal candidate will be quick to pick up new software packages, enjoy working with data and have some previous experience of working with with Events and CRM platforms and tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Mailchimp, Salesforce, WordPress, Adobe, etc.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Events Design, Promotion and Delivery
Responsible for supporting the end-to-end management and delivery of events, specifically:
• Support research on event topics covering the relevant geographies and themes of interest
• Set up and run in-person and virtual/hybrid events on Zoom/Teams
• Lead on event logistics - set up and derig
• Upload event listings on British Expertise International website
• Manage social media accounts for member and events related content
• Support events promotion using a range of platforms, i.e. Mailchimp, mail-merge etc.
