The Labour Party is recruiting 21 Trainee Organisers to join our team in summer 2022. Our trainee organisers will be at the forefront of the next general election campaign, supporting our parliamentary candidates, local parties and our regional, Scottish and Welsh offices with the essential work of delivering election winning campaigns.

Successful candidates will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to work proactively with a variety of stakeholders, the ability to successfully plan projects, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate these skills whether secured through political campaigning activity, or through other areas of their personal, voluntary, community or professional background.

Trainee organisers will benefit from a comprehensive programme of online and residential training, as well frontline experience gained from working on elections, by-elections and local campaigns. As this is a trainee scheme, we are looking for individuals who are willing and open to learning and constant development throughout the scheme.

Interview/Start Dates

Successful applicants will be invited to attend an assessment centre w/c 20th June, before final interviews.

Travel expenses for assessment centres & interviews will be paid. Applicants should be available to start the role the beginning of August 2022.
