We work closely as partners in the intelligence community to safeguard Britain’s people, interests and businesses from various threats including cyber-attacks, espionage, terrorism, and organised crime. When you join, you’ll help support our missions by delivering value and insight across all three agencies and enjoy some incredibly impactful audit work.

We’re now looking for an Internal Auditor, Senior Internal Auditor and a Deputy Head of Internal Audit. All the roles work across the intelligence community. Whether you’re leading the team or developing your skills, you’ll deliver internal audit assurance and advisory work across a wide range of topics. And because of the nature of what we do, you’ll assess things you’ve never imagined. From reviewing capabilities essential to our mission, through to looking at the legal frameworks underpinning our work, you’ll cover exciting operational and corporate areas. Taking pride in delivering high quality and impactful services, you’ll continuously look for ways to innovate and improve our way of working.

Depending on the role, we’ll look for a different level of experience. But there are some skills that are valuable across the department. You’ll need to hold (or be working towards) a relevant qualification, be comfortable working at pace and enjoy working collaboratively. Plus, you’ll be able to intMI5ct with a range of people, including stakeholders, customers, and your team.
