A fantastic opportunity to join UK in a Changing Europe’s in-house research team for the start of this award-winning think tank’s new three-year grant, running from May 1st 2022 to April 30th 2025.

The incoming Research Fellow or ‘Senior Researcher’ will play a key role in leading UK in a Changing Europe’s expanding research team over the next three years, overseeing their exciting work and project-managing a variety of longer-form research endeavours. This role will require both line-management and team management capabilities, as well as the ability to shape research strategy over a sustained period and bring in their own research funding.

The successful candidate will therefore have a track record as both a researcher and a team leader, with highly developed people management and editorial skills. They will have an abiding interest in the world of politics and public policy, and will have the ability to communicate with senior politicians, academics and other key UKICE stakeholders with confidence and clarity. Lastly, their established research discipline will be in a field relevant to the ongoing work of UK in a Changing Europe.

This post will be offered on a full-time, fixed term contract until 30th April 2025. This post could potentially be offered as a job share preferably a (50/50, 2x 0.5 FTE split).

NB: You will be expected to work in-person within a central London office for at least a portion of the week.
