Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who excels at communicating a message with passion and clarity. You’ll enjoy collaborating with others to amplify our message and will have a keen sense of how to tailor communications for different audiences.

The role has responsibility for two key strands of our work:

• Lead the alliance’s communications (70% of the role): You will bring the alliance’s work to life, raising awareness about the issues causing educational inequality, and the impactful initiatives that are working to address it. You’ll create and deliver our communications strategy to reach our 250 member organisations and external stakeholders.


• Manage the alliance’s external relations (30% of the role): You will lead on creating content to
communicate the urgency and importance of our positions to key external stakeholders, including policy makers, business leaders and charity CEOs. You will create briefings, support the management of relationships, and lead on drafting our responses to consultations and policy developments.

Interview/Start Dates

First-round interview: Virtual interview taking place 25th or 26th May.

Second-round interviews: In-person, one-hour panel interview at our Brixton offices, taking place week commencing 6th June.
