This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic policy and campaigns team. We work on a wide range of issues that affect people living with HIV, focusing on four strategic goals:

STOP: we will stop new HIV infections.
CHAMPION: we will champion the needs of people whose voices and experiences are too often ignored.
PROTECT: we will protect the rights of everyone living with and at risk of HIV.
DRIVE: we will drive engagement and activism to change attitudes to HIV.

You'll be flexible and self-motivated with good communication skills. You'll have experience of developting policy recommendations and a track record of influencing decisions, a commitment to human rights and a good understanding of the policy and parliamentary process in the UK.

You'll also be confident to lead projects, have good interpersonal skills and be comfortable juggling a varied and demanding workload. A team player, you will engage with a wide range of policy issues, with lead responsibility for specific areas of National AIDS Trust's policy agenda all related to HIV in the UK context.

In return, we offer a range of benefits including 27 days leave per year plus Bank Holidays, annual salary increments, 6% employer pension contribution, flexible working, a hybrid working arrangement of home and eco-conscious office space in Bethnal Green, interest-free travel loan and cycle to work scheme, access to an Employee Assistance Programme, and a supportive team environment.

National AIDS Trust is committed to equality and diversity and particularly encourages applications from people living with HIV, gay and bisexual men, trans and non-binary people, and people from black and minority ethnic communities.

We welcome applications from disabled people and are committed to making reasonable adjustments wherever possible.
