This is an exciting new role within the Innovate Finance Policy team; your remit will cover our public policy and regulatory policy work streams – these span areas such as Crypto and DeFi, Open Finance, and Net Zero.

Innovate Finance has a flat structure, so you will be working directly with the management team and senior leaders in the FinTech community on Policy matters.

You will:
* be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision;
* be comfortable communicating professionally with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders (all levels of seniority);
* have excellent written communication skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to write clearly and concisely;
* strong analytical skills: able to understand complex issues, break them down into clear components and identify trends and cause and effect.
* be well organised and be able to proactively manage competing, time-sensitive deliverables;
possess a strong understanding of the key regulatory and public policy issues impacting the UK FinTech sector.
* understand how Parliament and UK government works
* an appetite to develop public speaking experience is desirable

You will have some experience of working in one or more of the following areas: government, politics, communications, think tank, public affairs and politics (1-5 years experience). Experience of financial services, tech or Fintech is desirable but not essential.

Location: London (EC2) / mixed with home working, if preferred

Hours of Work: this is a full-time role but applications are also welcome from those wishing to work part-time (please state hours if so)
