This is an exciting opportunity to join Barnardo's Policy and Public Affairs team and work with us to champion the issues that matter to vulnerable children and young people today and in the future, at the heart of the political agenda across the four nations of the UK.

Have you got a track record in helping shape policy thinking and influencing decision makers in support of a charitable cause with a policy background working to end harms to children including child sexual abuse and exploitation both online and offline?

If so this role could be for you. Your work will play a key role in creating the context for positive change to improve the lives of vulnerable children, young people and families. You will need experience of working with politicians across the UK, engaging senior officials and a wide range of sector stakeholders to influence policy change.

With strong leadership skills, the ability to devise and implement influencing plans and the ability to bring together different teams you will play a pivotal role in our goal to change the lives of vulnerable children.
