Job Details

The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) is an independent charity dedicated to breaking the link between family income and educational achievement.

We do this by summarising the best available evidence in plain language for busy, time-poor teachers and senior leaders, generating new evidence of what works, and what doesn’t work, to improve teaching and learning. We support teachers and senior leaders across the country to use this evidence to achieve the maximum possible benefit for children and young people.

The Benefits

- Flexible start and end working times (core hours between 10am and 4pm)
- Flexible working opportunities
- 27 days’ holiday a year (plus 8 bank holidays)
- Pension matched with 5% employer contributions
- Life insurance cover
- Interest-free season ticket loan and cycle scheme
- Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave pay (conditions apply)
- Confidential Employee Assistance Programme to help you deal with any personal and professional problems

The Role

As an International Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance and growth of our global network.

Currently, our network is made up of six formal partnerships with organisations committed to using evidence generation, synthesis and dissemination to improve outcomes for children. You’ll focus on supporting the management of partnerships across the network.

You will organise international visits and events to showcase our work and help identify new opportunities to engage with prospective partners and organisations.

About You

To join us as an International Officer, you will need:

- A commitment to the use of rigorous evidence to improve global outcomes for pupils from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds
- An understanding of the international education sector, including the work in high income and development contexts
- The ability to build effective relationships and/or partnerships with a range of stakeholders
- The ability to identify strategy, initiate and manage projects, as well as consider risk
- A strong track record of delivery and achievement
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
