Role overview
College Green Group is recruiting an operations assistant to support the operations manager and the rest of the senior management team. 

Primary duties and capabilities

  • Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Diary management
  • Minute taking and reporting on actions of meetings
  • Invoicing and maintenance of internal financial sheets
  • Processing monthly team expenses using accounting software
  • Provide general administrative support to the 3 person Senior Management Team (SMT)
  • Event planning and management
  • Email support for SMT
  • Assisting with conducting monthly ISO 27001 internal audits
  • Project support to the wider CGG team
  • Undertaking research tasks when needed
  • Assist with maintenance of staff handbook, review and update policy documents
  • Ability to contribute to client meetings and ensure that they are productive and clearly documented with action points and timeframes
  • A working knowledge of the main social media networks and platforms for business and political campaigns (at present, LinkedIn, Facebook, twitter, Instagram and YouTube)
  • Organise and facilitate networking events for the team
  • Any other duties as reasonably required be the SMT

Core knowledge / Experience

  • Previous experience working in an operations/administrative role
  • Understanding of the British political landscape, including the UK Parliament and media landscape (desirable but not essential)
