The VRN is one of 20 Home Office funded Violence Reduction Units (VRU) across England and Wales, tasked with working with a wide range of partners and communities to tackle the causes of serious violence through designing and delivering a range of strategies and interventions. As part of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) and governed by the local Strategic Partnership Board, the VRN enjoys a high level of commitment and support from local partners.

The successful candidate will join the VRN’s multi-disciplinary central team, co-located with Leicestershire Police.
