This is an exciting opportunity to play a significant role in tackling inequalities between the North and the South of England through health research.

The Northern Health Science Alliance is an alliance of 24 NHS Hospital Trusts, Universities and Academic Health Science Networks across the North. We give one voice to the health research system across the North of England and are a key player in delivering the levelling-up agenda through life sciences research and tackling inequalities. We have a track record of delivering impactful change through our networks, reports, and events, nationally and internationally.

We are seeking a talented senior public affairs officer with experience of working in, or with, Westminster and/or regional government. You will have a passion for the levelling-up agenda and knowledge of the health innovation sector and will work as an integral part of our public affairs and communications team.

This role is primarily home-based, but you will be expected to work regularly in Westminster with travel across the North.
