About the role

We’re looking for a Community Liaison Officer (CLO) for our Hornsea Project Three Offshore Wind Farm.

The Community Liaison Officer will act as an interface between the local community and Hornsea Project Three. This role will be an external facing role, acting as the first point of contact on behalf of the project within the local community.

We want to hear from people who have an interest in and deep understanding of community relations, who are strategic in their thinking and creative in their approach. We’re seeking someone who has a real passion for building and maintaining meaningful relationships with communities.

Key requirements

• Proven experience in a similar position
• Excellent knowledge of the local area
• Proven record of managing client, stakeholder and media relationships
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & stakeholder engagement strategies and approaches
• Strong communication and effective interpersonal skills in order to build and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, colleagues, key partners and local communities
• Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines whilst showing attention to detail
• Flexible, enthusiastic and confident attitude; a pro-active member of the team
• Excellent English, both written and verbal, with great writing skills to deal with queries and concerns as well as marketing material such as newsletters, social media and blogs
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to talk in detail about the construction activities with local representatives and groups
• Ability and willingness to travel across the Norfolk region & to London, if required
