We are looking for a Campaigns Officer who is able to help us design and implement campaigns that bring people together to call for action we need to solve poverty in Scotland.

This post will be responsible for helping to increase the visibility and impact of the Poverty Alliance’s key campaigning activities. We are looking for someone who can support our members and community organisations to help shape and participate in our campaigns, and who can act as an effective communicator to key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will join the Poverty Alliance's Policy and Campaigns. They will have experience of working in campaigns at a local or national level, as well as a knowledge and understanding of poverty-related issues in Scotland and across the UK. They will have experience of communicating complex social justice issues to diverse audiences. Ideally, they will have a demonstrable knowledge of the third sector and broader civil society in Scotland, with an understanding of how to develop and build campaign coalitions.
