This is an advert to cover a 6 months secondment. The role is an integral part of the Candidates Department and forms part of the key pillars of the Department’s work following its review in 2020. The objective of the role is to be election ready, attract & recruit candidates that represent modern Britain.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Organise activities related to attraction and recruitment of candidates
• Build and manage network of external and internal outreach champions
• Manage and empower external and internal stakeholders to find outstanding candidates (Staff, MPs, Members of House of Lords, Affiliated groups, Business/Community leaders with links to the Party etc.) through regular presentations, comms and events
• Main contact for leads from outreach champions/stakeholders
• Provide buddy service/regular follow-ups for leads
• Organise outreach events for Candidates Department
• Present and speak about candidates processes at internal and external outreach events and roadshows
• Proactively head hunt for candidates using various means from desktop research to communication and cooperation with local stakeholders and dedicated staff
