Bright Blue is an independent think tank for liberal conservatism. We defend and improve liberal society. Our primary role is to create and vet government policy.
We are looking for a paid Research Intern to join us for six months. We take our internship programme very seriously as a pathway to joining the Bright Blue team permanently: many of our senior- and mid-level staff started as interns. Based on your performance, there will be an offer to permanently join our team at the end of the internship.
Bright Blue has a very busy research and events programme. As an intern, you can expect to be given responsibility quickly, as well as support and encouragement to build your media profile and research skills.
We are looking for talented, hard-working people who wish to kickstart a career and profile in public policy. The successful candidate will be industrious and have an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrate intellectual creativity and rigour, and will also have excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate must have a strong background in and enjoyment of extensive research and writing.
