Too often, school and university leavers lack an understanding of a) the careers available to them, and b) what those careers actually entail.

Acumen’s mission is to demystify careers, mapping out the full spectrum of career options before bringing them to life through the voices of people pursuing them. In doing this, we hope to empower young people to pursue a profession they love.

We’re creating a library of videos in which professionals discuss their chosen career, from the skills they use to entry routes and career progression. You’ll work closely with us to create a series of short, vlog-style videos exploring different aspects of your profession.

We’re looking for university graduates with:

• 3-5 years experience in a relevant role (politics, public affairs, policy, communications etc.)
• The ability to speak with confidence, energy, and insight about your profession
• Access to a quiet space (your bedroom/living room is fine!) to record short, vlog-style videos

All recording takes place remotely, meaning you can work with us from the comfort of your home. Acumen will deliver professional recording equipment to your door, ensuring your videos are of a high quality.
