The Opportunity


We are looking for a Director who has particular expertise working at the intersection of faith and politics. The Director will report to a Partner and will form part of the Good Faith Partnership’s Leadership Team.

The Director’s main responsibility will be to oversee and lead GFP projects and develop new business, which will include:
• Directing the ChurchWorks Commission for Covid Recovery. Working with senior denominational
leaders, government ministers, officials and politicians to facilitate collective action and collaboration that accelerates the recovery from Covid for the most vulnerable groups and disadvantaged communities.
• Working with senior faith leaders and charities to assess the impact of faith in public life and design strategies that harness and maximise the contribution of faith communities within civil society.
• Overseeing strategic research and facilitating thought leadership that increases public engagement and social impact among charities and faith communities
• Supporting and leading on securing new initiatives, identifying opportunities and building
relationships with potential clients.
• Setting up projects, building teams of GFP employees and associates, creating project budgets and project management tools.
• Leading project delivery, being accountable for the project objectives and for budget management.
• Line managing staff and respond to the needs of the team by delegating work and providing
guidance/training where needed
• Supporting the Partners with tasks that are delegated to you or your team
• Playing an active role in the GFP Leadership Team, contributing to strategic decision-making and leading on and overseeing GFP core tasks
