Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for adaptable and self-motivated Conservative Group Office Manager with excellent communication and administration skills.
You will provide support to the Leader & Deputy Leader of the Group as well as other elected members. Respecting and preserving confidentiality will be key as well as the ability to thrive in a stimulating and fast-moving environment.
The role requires excellent literacy and numeracy skills and close attention to detail with the ability to undertake and present wide-ranging research.
You should be self-motivated, solution focused and able to deal with enquiries and work competently to high standards.
You will have a wide range of experience of all aspects of personal assistant work, including:
1. Preparing and editing documents and presentations.
2. Arranging, supporting and note-taking of meetings.
3. Researching and collecting data and other information for reports and briefings.
4. Diary management.
5. Line managing other members of staff and overseeing the office casework system.
You will need to be a confident decision maker to be able to maximise the time and attention of elected members. Flexibility with regards to working hours and location is essential.
The role is based at the Council House, but you could also be required to work in other locations.
