CRUK’s goal is to raise survival to 3 in 4 over the next 20 years. To achieve this we will require a focus on funding and supporting the best research into the causes, treatment and prevention of cancer, and ensuring that the findings of this research are translated into benefit for patients as quickly as possible. It is therefore essential that we keep cancer high on the political agenda in the UK and Europe.

CRUK’s policy development team works across cancer research, prevention and health policy, developing evidence-based policy positions to inform decisions by all four UK governments related to cancer and research and communicating these to key decision makers.
