Crisis is the national charity for people facing homelessness. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.

This is your opportunity to join an ambitious and high-performing Policy and Campaigns team. Our exciting programme of political campaigning builds on our wealth of in-depth evidence-based policy solutions on how to end homelessness for good. Our campaigning is centred around securing national policy change through mobilising parliamentarians at Westminster and creatively engaging our supporters in meaningful lobbying activity.

This is your chance to be a part of the team and deliver campaigns that result in real and impactful policy change.

Location: London office (remote-working up to 4 days a week is permitted)

About the role

As Senior Campaigns and Public Affairs officer, you will be responsible for ensuring political influencing is at the centre of the design and implementation of our public facing campaigns. You’ll be responsible for working across the policy and campaigns team to drive forward our engagement and successful lobbying of key decision-makers, parliamentarian supporters and other key political stakeholders. This role will work in partnership with campaign colleagues specialising in digital campaigning, supporter engagement and lived experience campaigning to bring about the bold policy changes needed to secure an end to all forms of homelessness.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced campaigner with excellent public affairs and parliamentary knowledge. You will have a strong track record of leading high profile policy campaigns to successfully influence policy change at a national government level. You will be acutely aware of the policy making process across government, understand the need for pragmatism and diplomacy in designing campaign strategies and tactics that engage all political parties to bring about policy change, and bring creativity and energy to planning parliamentary engagement campaign actions.
