The RSPCA is looking to recruit a Public Affairs Adviser to join our Public Affairs Team in the RSPCA's Advocacy & Policy Directorate.

RSPCA Cymru’s advocacy and lobbying work in Wales includes:
Lobbying within the Senedd / Welsh Parliament, the Welsh Government, local government and other decision makers for improvements in animal welfare standards and legislation.

Helping to shape the future of animal welfare through education, awareness-raising and behaviour change - including seeking to influence Wales' new national curriculum so it inspires the next generation to be kinder to animals.

Public-facing campaigning to improve the lives of animals in Wales.

Working in partnership with other organisations - including through the Animal Welfare Network for Wales and other coalition groups.

As Public Affairs Adviser, you’ll be supporting the RSPCA’s work in promoting the activities and profile of RSPCA Cymru within Welsh civic society, including with Welsh Government, within the Senedd / the Welsh Parliament, all Unitary Authorities and other key stakeholders related to animal welfare.
