WWe are now looking to recruit an Associate into our Policy Advisory team, working across sectors and leading professionals within the industry you will play a key role in helping manage the day-to-day aspects of client accounts, whilst developing your own political insight and advisory style. 

We would expect this role to be suitable for someone with 3-4 years experience. 

Key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Day to day management of a portfolio of client accounts ensuring the team is running well to deliver a seamless client experience at all times
  • Build, maintain and own strong relationships within client teams at the appropriate level and act as secondary advisor to ensure the smooth running of accounts.
  • Prepare documents such as letters to Ministers, client advice notes. for review by the consultant team ahead of submission / delivery to the client.
  • Developing and utilising your political network to gather intelligence for clients and the wider firm, and using your insights to stimulate ideas among the team.
  • Ensure that you are fully up to speed with competitor activity and political sentiment in relation to your client accounts to support the Director in the provision of a first class client service
  • Contribute to the new business process through the identification of possible leads and participation in the preparation / execution of new business pitches
  • Proactively manage the political calendar to ensure that events such as the Budget, major announcements and events are analysed and summarised for clients and the wider firm.
  • General line management responsibilities of Executives and Client Account Managers
