Job Details

These roles are exciting opportunities to play a pivotal part in leading the CMA’s stakeholder engagement programme in either Northern Ireland or Scotland.

These roles are based in the CMA’s Advocacy, Nations and External Relations team and are at the centre of the CMA’s stakeholder engagement, including governments and elected representatives in the four nations of the UK. A core part of our work is managing our relationships with stakeholders across the policy, business and consumer landscape in Northern Ireland and Scotland and how the CMA uses its voice.

Alongside the wider Advocacy, Nations and External Relations team, you will give and facilitate the provision of advice and information to the government and local authorities, and lead our engagement with key stakeholders, including consumer, business and third sector groups. This includes amplifying key messages arising from project work and promoting competition and consumer compliance work.

As Nations Representative for Northern Ireland or Scotland you will actively manage the CMA’s reputation in Northern Ireland or Scotland and identify opportunities to extend our reach and influence. You will be the source of advice on how the CMA should engage in Northern Ireland or Scotland to influence policy debates to promote competition in the interests of consumers in Northern Ireland or Scotland and across all nations of the UK.
