Our Marketing Manager will be responsible for and have autonomy to deliver a host of events to target, as well drive the performance of the team and divisional strategy. This will involve people and process management, as well accountability for team performance and targets. 

Main responsibilities & duties:

  • Identify shortfalls, and determine methods to keep data fresh, up to data and in high quantities - to serve our portfolio of events
  • Identifying target markets and creating ‘data universe’ for each event and separating based on needs and interests
  • Building, developing & maintaining the brands of various product lines
  • Using excellent copy writing to communicate each event’s USPs and with relevant calls to action to drive delegate acquisition
  • Being responsible for the performance, development and progression of more junior members of the marketing team
  • Collaborate with influencers, associations, speaker organisations to form partnerships via ‘contra’ arrangements that improve product placement & credibility

Essential:

  • Ability to translate company strategic objectives into marketing strategies
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in an email / digital marketing role
  • Effective at data segmentation and audience analysis
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing software
  • Experience of working with websites and content management systems
  • Experience of SEO, web and social media analytics and international marketing
  • Someone who drives positive performance against key metrics through high quality marketing
